Transporting a large container for storage of alkalis and acids

Task. Deliver a cylindrical container for storing chemicals from Germany to Lipetsk, Russia. Weight of container is 6.3 tons and dimensions are 9.45×3.70×3.90 m

Solution. Working on this project was divided into 3 stages.

Stage 1. VE Service experts arranged the cargo transportation from the place of loading to the German port of Lübeck-Travemünde. An oversized semi-trailer platform was used.

Stage 2. In the port the container was loaded onto a mafitrailer and sent by ferry to the Latvian port of Liepāja.

Stage 3. From the seaport of Liepāja through the customs clearance point and further to Lipetsk, the tank was again transported on an oversized semi-trailer platform.
